Speed Mentoring Event

5pm-7pm
Room 338 Psychology, the Berkowitz Room

The Department of Psychology in conjunction with our Psychology Board of Visitors is hosting a Speed Mentoring Event. This is an opportunity for students to speak one-on-one or in small groups with multiple individuals who work in various occupations, including business, law, medical fields, clinical work, and more. Students will meet with a minimum of 5 alumni during the evening.  PIZZA provided!

Lunch and Learn: Color Preferences
Tuesday October 24th
12:15pm-1pm
Room 338 Psychology, the Berkowitz Room
How are color preferences formed? Why do they differ between individuals and change over time? How might the processes that influence color preferences also determine our ability to interpret the meanings of colors in visual media, such as graphs, maps and signs? Professor Karen Schloss will give a 30 minute talk that addresses these topics, and answer questions about color cognition and information visualization.
