
The executive committee is elected by the general members at the business meeting of the annual conference. The term of office will be two years the maximum time any one member can occupy any one executive position is two consecutive terms. The terms of the members of the executive shall be staggered in order to ensure continuity. This year, four positions are up for election: the president, the treasurer, and regular members 1 and 2. Nominations, for these positions consisting of the name of the nominee and the names of two members supporting the candidate, should be sent to the secretary by writing (or e-mail) before May 15th. A vote by secret ballot will be conducted at the business meeting, if we have quorum (i.e., 50% + 1 of existing members). Otherwise, the vote will be done by mail and communicated to the members at a future date.
