You must register to attend the talk. The following link (and hyperlink in the poster) takes you directly to the registration page where you will be asked to provide your name and email: https://uwmadison.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJUtde6vpzgpGdZc8E746radN52nSFC9lFza
Upon registering, you will receive the meeting link on the registration page as well as in a confirmation email. You can register right up until the start of the talk.
While the speaker is presenting all attendees will be required to be muted and the chat will be disabled. Once the Q&A session begins, the chat will go live. Attendees with questions should post “?” and their stage of research in the chat, effectively “raising their hand.“ For example, post “? – faculty,” “? – grad student,” etc. The student host will then call on attendees to unmute themselves, pose their question, and then remute. We ask that questions be kept brief to allow for multiple people to ask questions, with priority given to graduate students.
