DESCRIPTION:Are you an undergraduate psychology student who is about to graduate or has recently graduated and is hoping to secure a full‑time research position? \nThis three‑part series guides you through the full‑time research job search\, from application materials to understanding what PIs and lab teams look for\, while connecting you with peers navigating the same process. \n\nSession 1: Getting Started – How to Apply and Stay Organized\nWednesday\, February 4\, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM\, Brogden Room 138\nThis kickoff session covers the fundamentals of applying for full‑time research roles\, including networking\, finding openings\, tailoring materials\, and staying organized\, with practical tools to support your search.\nSession 2: The PI Perspective\nWednesday\, February 11\, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM\, Brogden Room 138\nIn this session\, a guest Principal Investigator (PI) will share their insights on what makes a strong candidate\, what they look for in applications and interviews\, and how students can stand out.\nSession 3: The Alumni Perspective\nWednesday\, February 18\, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM\, Brogden Room 138\nThis session features alumni and professionals in full‑time research roles who will share their job search experiences\, challenges\, and strategies for success.\n\n⚠️ Important Details \n\nSpace is limited; a waitlist may be implemented.\nParticipants must commit to attending all three sessions.\n\nParticipants must be declared psychology majors who are about to graduate or have recently graduated and hope to secure a full-time research position. \nREGISTER HERE \n\n\nThe Department of Psychology is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible event.
