DESCRIPTION:Celebrate UW-Madison Homecoming this October! Make your way back to Brogden for: \nGet Psyched: a 1-hour event featuring 4 flash talks by psychology faculty and researchers \nFriday\, October 6\n1:00 pm\nBrogden Psychology Building\n1202 W Johnson St.\, Madison \nDiscover the latest on: \n\nthe psychology of gun ownership\nwell-being in mid-life and what factors protect against illness and disease in aging\nbiomarkers\, their purpose\, and their usefulness in clinical and research domains\nhow false beliefs persist\n\nThis FREE event will be held at the Brogden Psychology Building at 1pm\, with tours of psychology research labs to follow from 2-3pm. Drinks and snacks will be provided. REGISTER HERE.\n  \n\nBONUS: all alumni attendees and their guests will receive a copy of this year’s Go Big Read\, How Minds Change\, which examines why people believe the way they do (a great tie-in to our last presentation!).\n\nWe look forward to seeing you there!\n
