DESCRIPTION:A three-part series with one session each week\, held Wednesdays at 4:00 PM from September 10 through September 24\, 2025. \nHosted by Psychology Career Advisor Stephanie Scholze\, this three-part interactive series is designed to support students preparing applications for graduate programs beginning Fall 2026. Each session offers practical guidance\, tailored resources\, and opportunities for reflection and peer exchange. Participants are expected to engage actively during sessions and complete preparatory work between meetings. \n🗓️ Session Overview \nSession 1: Demystifying the Application Process\nWednesday\, September 10: 4:00-5:00pm CT in Room 138 Brogden Psychology Building\nExplore the application timeline\, required materials\, and realistic expectations to help you apply with confidence. \nSession 2: Letters & Resumes/CVs That Shine\nWednesday\, September 17: 4:00-5:00pm CT in Room 138 Brogden Psychology Building\nLearn how to request strong letters of recommendation and tailor your Resume/CV for graduate applications. \nSession 3: Crafting Compelling Statements\nWednesday\, September 24: 4:00-5:00pm CT in Room 138 Brogden Psychology Building\nGet tips and strategies for writing your Personal Statement and Statement of Purpose with clarity and impact. \n⚠️ Important Details\nSpace is limited; a waitlist may be implemented.\nParticipants must commit to attending all three sessions.\nParticipants must be declared psychology majors at UW-Madison who are applying to graduate programs that will start in Fall 2026. \nREGISTER HERE \n  \n\nThe Department of Psychology is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible event.
