Lunch and Learn: How Children Learn with Professor Karl Rosengren
October 25 @ 12:30 pm - 1:15 pm
Room 338 Psychology, the Berkowitz Room
How do children learn about the natural world? How do they learn to distinguish reality from fantasy? What role do parents and the broader culture play in how children learn about nature, health, illness, and death? How do different causal models coexist in the minds of both children and adults? Karl Rosengren will give a 30-minute talk about these topics, and answer questions about cognitive development and exploring these questions across different groups.
