SUMMARY:Psychology in the Courtroom: An Immersive Career Experience
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a unique opportunity to learn from a seasoned legal professional and witness the intersection of psychology and law firsthand. This immersive experience includes a pre-trial Zoom session\, a court visit to observe jury selection\, and a post-trial debrief. There is availability for 20 students to participate. Students must apply to participate and will be selected on a first-come\, first-served basis based on strength of application. \nThroughout the experience\, Amanda Riek a UW-Madison psychology alum and current criminal defense attorney will share her experiences and expertise in the legal field\, providing valuable insights into the role of psychology in criminal justice. \nAPPLY HERE \n
