SUMMARY:Student Advisory Board Application
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Psychology invites undergraduate Psychology majors to apply to be a Student Ambassador on our Student Advisory Board for the 2024-2025 academic year! \nStudent ambassadors will serve in a volunteer leadership capacity in the department and will offer important perspectives to help the department improve the undergraduate experience for psychology students. \nTopics Student Ambassadors will provide perspectives on include (but are not limited to):\n-communication with undergraduate students\n-undergraduate events and programming\n-diversity\, equity\, inclusion and belonging in the Psychology community\n-student giveaways\nStudent Ambassadors are expected to:\n-be a declared Psychology major\n-commit to 4 to 6 hours per month\n-attend the Student Advisory Board monthly meeting (+ additional meetings if needed)\n-attend and/or support 2 Psychology undergraduate events per month\n \nAPPLY HERE\n*The application opens on Monday\, August 26th and will close on Friday\, September 13th at 11:59pm. \nQuestions about serving on the Student Advisory Board?
