GRADUATE PROGRAM

Doctoral Student
M.S. 2005, University of Wisconsin-Madison
B.S. 2002, Davidson College

My research investigates individual and group differences in human cognition. Using an array of methodological techniques, I explore peaks and troughs in the cognitive abilities of diverse populations.

In one line of research, I explore the behavioral, neural, and genetic bases of autistic children's weakness in praxis, or the ability to plan and execute a sequence of motor actions.

In a second line of research, I am identifying the types of cognitive tests that best estimate autistic individuals’ peaks and those that best estimate their troughs.
