Awards and Scholarships
The University of Wisconsin-Madison has for many years provided undergraduate students
with the opportunity to do research on campus during the summer. Besides doing research,
participants attend seminars dealing with standardized test taking (e.g., GRE), the graduate
school application process, graduate school life, applying for fellowships and financial aid,
and other program-specific workshops. In addition, there are several special social events
for the approximately 100 summer interns who will be on campus.
Eligibility
This program is restricted to minority populations. U.S. citizenship, or permanent
residence is required. However, you need not be a UW-Madison student to
participate.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Travel, housing, food allowance, health insurance, plus a minimum $2500 stipend
are provided.
Psychology Research Experience Program (PREP)
