Career Exploration and Planning

New this fall! Maureen Muldoon, Career & Internship Specialist for Healthcare & Wellness, Environment & Wildlife, and Scientific Product Development & Research with SuccessWorks at the College of Letters & Science will be available in Brogden Psychology Building every Tuesday.

· Starting September 12th L&S students can schedule an appointment for Tuesday afternoon in Rm 428 Brogden Psychology Building
· Find a different time at another location
· Attend a Tuesday afternoon Career Meet Up 3:30-4:30 p.m. in room 210 Brogden Psychology Building

Career Meet Ups are open to any student to stop by and learn about a specific topic. You can expect a 10-15 minute overview
followed by Q&A. Come and go any time during the hour as your schedule permits; bring your questions and bring a friend, too!

There are several campus resources to guide your career search. Undecided students who are unsure about their desired major/career are encouraged to visit the CCAS Career Exploration Center. The Letters and Science Career Services office offers a variety of opportunities ranging from career assessment, resume writing, interviewing techniques, internships, graduate school, and more. Online resources include:

BuckyNet - a tool that allows you to search for jobs, internships, and participate in on-campus interviews.

LinkedIn - allows you to connect with professionals.  We have a UW-Madison Psychology Alumni group which students can join and network with alumni of the Psychology department.

Badger Bridge - Online networking resource for current UW-Madison students and alumni.Find and connect with alumni working in your field of interest.
