Kamila Redd
Kamila is the Lab Manager for the Brauer Group Lab. Her research interests center on how minority groups cultivate belonging and resilience while facing discrimination within majority-dominated environments. Her work has focused on how racial minorities in the U.S. cope with discrimination through co-rumination with confidants, examining how perceived similarity of meta-perceptions and levels of discrimination influence co-rumination and its impact on stress and social bonds. She received a B.A. in Psychological and Brain Sciences with a minor in statistics from Washington University in St. Louis.
