The Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues recently named the Brauer Group Lab as the recipient of the Gordon Allport Intergroup Relations Prize honoring the memory of the late Dr. Gordon W. Allport, a founder and past president of SPSSI. Nominated for their article, “Exposure to peers’ pro-diversity attitudes increases inclusion and reduces the achievement gap,” Sohad Murrar, Mitchell Campbell, and Markus Brauer received the $1000 award given to the best paper or article of the year on intergroup relations. The paper discusses using social norms messaging to create a more inclusive climate and reduce the achievement gap.
Congratulations to all in the Brauer Group Lab!
