Each year students elected to the honor society Phi Beta Kappa nominate their favorite professors for the annual Teaching Award. The recipient is selected by the Phi Beta Kappa officers. This year, the award went to Professor C. Shawn Green.
The award is a heartfelt way to recognize a professor who has made an impact on a student and influenced their intellectual and human development.
Zachary Demko x’21, a 2020 PBK inductee, submitted the nomination, saying, “It is clear to me that Professor Green deserves this award due to his innovative application of empirically-tested teaching methods and his strong dedication to cultivating talented individuals within his research lab.”
Congratulations, Professor Green!
