The Departments of Psychology and Gender & Women’s Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison seek to hire a tenure-track Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor with research and teaching interests in the psychological aspects of sexual violence. Job duties for faculty positions include research, teaching, and service. Ph.D. in Psychology or Gender & Women’s Studies, with a specialization in sexual violence research is required. Candidates should have a deep knowledge of research on sexual violence and a research program on sexual assault, sexual harassment, sex trafficking, violence against sexual minorities, or gender-based violence.
The deadline for assuring full consideration is October 15, 2019; however, positions will remain open and applications may be considered until the position is filled. This faculty position is part of the University of Wisconsin’s Cluster Hiring Initiative. Two additional searches concern the societal aspects of sexual violence and policy approaches to sexual violence.
