The Department of Psychology is delighted to recognize clinical psychologist and lecturer Rhonda Reinholtz with this year’s Departmental Teaching Award.
Reinholtz’s course evaluations consistently praise her strengths in creating engaging course content, providing real-life applications to concepts of psychology, and responding thoughtfully to student questions. One recent student commented, “Rhonda’s passion for the subject makes class time fly by. I think her educational background and ability to teach paired with her real-world experience of the field made me feel that I could learn a lot from her. [Psych 607 Introduction to Psychotherapy] itself is fascinating and I learned so much more that will be applicable to my future profession than maybe any other class I’ve taken at UW.”
