Psychology in the Courtroom: An Immersive Career Experience

Join us for a unique opportunity to learn from a seasoned legal professional and witness the intersection of psychology and law firsthand. This immersive experience includes a pre-trial Zoom session, a court visit to observe jury selection, and a post-trial debrief. There is availability for 20 students to participate. Students must apply to participate and will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis based on strength of application.
Throughout the experience, Amanda Riek a UW-Madison psychology alum and current criminal defense attorney will share her experiences and expertise in the legal field, providing valuable insights into the role of psychology in criminal justice.
