Due to the ongoing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 situation and recent campus update to move instruction online for the remainder of the semester, the Department of Psychology Student Thesis and Research Symposium and Undergraduate Awards Reception scheduled for April 23, 2020 is canceled.
We are deeply disappointed to not have the opportunity to celebrate our students’ outstanding achievements and contributions to the Department of Psychology. Undergraduate students are an important component of this Department’s success, and it is truly unfortunate that faculty, staff, family, and friends will not be able to formally recognize them this semester.
The Department may look into alternate or remote ways to recognize our students’ accomplishments in the future, pending the status of campus operations in the coming weeks.
